Design and fabricate a folding chair for entry in the Designboom Folding Chair Competition.

A slim folded chair was conceived which, through the use of a back drawer handle, allowed for chair storage within a similarly styled folding table (four chairs per table, each chair representing a ‘drawer’ when folded away).

Raw materials were used in order to keep fabrication simple. The design received a Distinctive Entry mention in the Designboom Folding Chair Competition and was also featured at the 2004 ICFF Offsite at the Chelsea Hotel, New York.
